Suck month continues.
This month can not finish fast enough. I'm in the foulest of the foul moods this morning and it's all related to suck month.
I've had this mental checklist I've been working through that seems only to get longer. Patricks return from his vacation (check); Moms visit (ugh today); Noon to Nine week at work with on call weekend (ugh tomorrow). All ( Read more... ) -
Finally Friday.
This week really was a struggle. Today should be relatively easily with all day meeting that I just have to sit and listen in. It's a welcome relief after the stress of work/life/etc. Case in point last night was heading out the door dressed like this.

Sunday afternoon
Weekend almost over. For once it's almost a relief. Patrick is out of town until next Saturday, leaving me here to pass the time. I'm house sitting for him as well as watching his cat. The cat loves me, of course, and is perfectly fine with that. Me, on the other hand, am not particularly enjoying it. Mostly because this is the first weekend we've ( Read more... ) -
Update time.
I mentioned last week a trip to the Doc for my shoulder. Well it's all fine it seems. Inflammation and a swollen tendon that was rolling across my shoulder were the big issue. Anti-inflam meds seem to be doing the trick of getting me back on track. No MRI needed at this rate.

Busy stuff
I'm finding things to occupy my time the past week. This amazes me as I've been so busy that I honestly don't understand why I feel the need to come up with more things to do. Anything to keep me mentally occupied seems good though.

Why I'm a cat person.
The roomie is traveling (again) and that leaves me at home with the dog. The dog is a big neurotic mess that has a hard time relaxing if anything is unusual or different. She also likes to go out every two or so hours at night. Not a big deal if Russ is here as he is up every couple of hours anyway and encourages her to go out. Good thing he can ( Read more... ) -

Try this again.
After eating one post I'm a bit leery about using the LJ app. I have to admit that it's still a lot better than the web interface.
Can you say Heat Wave? It looks like it is finally cooling down for the weekend, but this is what my car thermometer said yesterday after being parked in the sun.
