We've filed a report for M's, noting that mine was stolen too, but I have to call the police back when I get home and can access my serial number.

because there just ISN'T anywhere secure in our building

Condolences. My old bike courier roommate in Strathcona owned a bike that was worth roughly the equivalent of everything else in the house, combined; his position was that since it was impossible to secure a bike from a dedicated thief, the gentle art was to disguise it as a beater (a disguise in which occasional application of duct tape played a part.)

If your apartment is secure enough to store all your other worldly possessions, presumably it passes the "secure enough for bikes" test -- but a couple of bikes do take up a lot of room.

BOO!

I want my money back!
