I think there are two kinds of people in life...

...people who hate being tickled, and people who don't get (and possibly will never get) why tickling the aforementioned type of people is a Really Bad Idea.

*grumbles*

Honestly, I don't mind a quick grab around the tummy. But any extended tickling gets the brain thinking that it had better defend itself, which has resulted in elbows to the (read: his!) eye. And he STILL hasn't learned. AHAHAHAH. I should aim lower next time ;)

I KNOOOOOOOOOW.

I've flailed around and actually smacked him in the face with my elbow. You'd think he would have learned by now :P

Yup. I honestly don't mind a quick tummy grab. But anything beyond, say, two seconds, brings out the fight-or-flight reflex :P

When I used to be ticklish, I hated being tickled. Now that I'm not ticklish at all, I still hate it. But now I'm able to glare at and smack anyone who tries without the loathesome spasmodic reactions interfering.

How did you stop being ticklish?

I need to work on my aim while flailing ;)

I'm not really sure. I know it goes as far back as 1995, when Brianna was born. My ex and I had broken up for about a year and a half in which I got pregnant and had Brianna, and when we got back together, he tried tickling me, and I smacked him. And he always pouted afterward about me no longer being ticklish.
