PHYSICAL CONTACT: go for it! souji's a man of few words but that somehow leads him to have a zero amount of personal bubble when it comes to friends. especially that of a rise and teddie variety. with that said, hugging him out of the blue would either lead him to being either confused or, if he knows and likes you, hugging back. something like kissing, however, might get a bigger reaction than hugging obviously. but he won't get mad or anything. this is basically fine but like anyone else, this might get a him a dose of wtf. if it's a kiss on the cheek or something, though, he won't really mind. just be, y'know, cute. ... i'm kidding. or am i. you decide.
