WARNING!
The following blog is EXTREAMLY boring and should only be read if you are so bored and easily amused, or am amused by rambling about bands. Any bordom contracted from reading this blog is your own fault!
So, I guess I shall begin with my very first concert. It was Taste of Chaos 2007, I went to see Rise Against, and I was blown away by how great they were, and how insync everything was, how precise the vocals all were. It was the best you could hope for from a first concert.
Not only did I get to see one of the biggest influences in my life perform. I also go to meet them. My mum (who I love) waited for an hour so we had a good spot in line. I had a home made Rise Against jacket and Tim said it was cute. I almost died, HAHAHA. So yeah, I got a poster and a CD signed and made it back in time to see The Used. Other bands that were the were The Gallows (cool, but scary), The Bled (HAHA, these guys were really good), Drop Dead Gorgeous (Didn't really know any of their stuff.... And still don't. But they are alright) and Aiden (who were probly the second best to Rise Against).

Next up was the 2007 My Chemical Romance show.
I'm an old fan of MCR, and by that I mean, I love their old stuff and don't really like where they have gone with the black perade but will stick by the regardless.
The first support band was The Getaway Plan, And this was the start of my Getaway Plan obsession, they looked so comfortable on stage, and they souned great. Next up, i think was a band like Circus Survive i think. I'm not too sure though. they were good. But not as good as TGP. When MCR finally came on (my first time in a mosh pit) everyone went crazy from where I was anyway. But i could hardly see Frank which SUCKED. We were told that Frank and Bob were not going to be there because of health issues. Bob wasn't there and Thursdays drummer filled in, but Frankie was there, which was awesome.

So then after a while of waiting, and not many good bands comeing that I could see (HIM came but played at the Tivoli.... +18.... FREAKING SUCKS!) One band did come that I liked... Love actually. A Finish heavy metal band. Children Of Bodom. It was Sweaty/scary/awesome/loud/painful/tireing/hot... Everything a Metal concert should be. And the band played great, As good as on their CD's, And my love for Alexi has only grown.
I went with my friend, who didn't want to mosh, so he held onto our posters ($20 each!) and he lost them. Both. And I also go an AWESOME flag.

So after the Bodom concert, I did a HUGE U-Turn. And found my self at the.... PANIC AT THE DISCO concert. (I know. A wide rangein music. Everything from skater hip hop to finish glam rock =])
Panic is the first concert where people got into the support bands. But who in their right mind wouldn't? Especially when the support bands are Cobra Starship(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and The Academy Is... (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). It was the most eventful, sexy, fun night of my LIFE! I liked the songs City Is At War, Snakes On A Plan and Hollaback Boy for a while, but I never knew who sung them. Then when CSS came on and started straight up with City Is At War, I freaked out and enjoyed every minute of it! Gabe even jumped down and I touched him! Yeah so, Cobra where so good, they fast became my second favourite band (next to HIM). Then TAI came on. And I only knew Neighbours and Classifieds from them, so i also fell in love with them, it was really a show that you couldn't hlep but love. And hats off to Panic, who i didn't really like, i only really went to see TAI and CSS who I had heard were good (and they are), and I came out a PATD fan. They where SO good. I learnt their songs just so I could sing a long, so yeah, i knew the words, but the way Brendon bounced around stage was so cute, and how they joked around, it was just so awesome. The way they delivered the songs too was very intimate, like, they always looked like they ment everyword and everyword was for their fans, and I guess thats pretty special.
PATD, TAI and CSS Ticket =]

Panic At The Disco
Ahhh... the most recent one. Simple Plan. Yes I like Simple Plan's OLD stuff. But I went to see my beloved.
You MUST check out their album Other Voices, Other Rooms. It is such an amazing CD. You can tell they have put everything into it and it pays of, the vocals are beautiful (exception of the screaming but even that is amazing), powerful guitar work, and complex druming. You will fall in love with it, it is so addictive. And they are such a lovely band.
P.S
FUCK ALL THE SECURITY AT THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE! I JUST WANTED TO SEE THE GETAWAY PLAN, BUT NO! YOU HAVE TO GO AND KICK US OUT BEFORE I GET THE CHANCE, AND THOSE OTHERS GET TO SEE THEIR SHORT STACK BUT WE (I) DON'T GET TO SEE THE BEST BAND IN THE COUNTRY! SO THANX TO YOUR CRAPPY SET UP WE (I) HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY COME UP HERE AGAIN! SO THANK YOU (NOT) SECURITY!
Next up.... FALL OUT BOY!! With Hey Monday and The All American Rejects... =]
