OK. So. I went to that interview last Tuesday. We shot the breeze, he asked me questions like how I felt about venipuncture, and stuff like that. At one point he asked me to explain what I did when I monitored surgery, and when I told him he said, "Oh good! I've asked that question to some other ladies and a lot of the time they can't even describe ( Read more... )

Woo hoo! I know the trial-and-waiting part is really hard, but it sounds to me like you have a shot at this! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Also, the solution to loud cats at my house is to grab them by the scruff and throw them off the bed. It quiets Trevor down for up to 10 whole minutes at a time. *headdesk*

Nothing stops Screech. Nothing. Not even the squirt bottle. The closest I can get is putting him under the covers with me. That will usually make him quiet for a little while, until he decides he's uncomfortable and ends up kicking and scratching the bejeezus outta me on his way out. The brat.

I know it seems like they're making you jump through a lot of hoops (and I agree, that's terribly stressful) but on the bright side I think it's great that they're being so careful. I'm sure you've worked at places where there are people who should ~never~ have been hired and are just a bad fit. If you do get this job, you can be certain that they ~really~ want you & that you'll fit right in. It'll probably be a really great workplace, too, considering the care they take when adding to the staff. I think it's a positive sign. ^_^

*keeping fingers crossed* Keep your spirits up...they're bound to love you.

I just really hate stressing over it. And can't help but wonder what the "concerns" he mentioned were. What the heck did I do? :P

Ah well. It'll be over soon enough, I suppose.

How come I am always missing your posts? *is puzzled but not surprised. LJ hates me*

It sounds like they are looking for perfection. But I think you are close enough. I hope you get this job *crosses fingers for you*
One thing though, did you like the place and people there? Were they nice to you? Because as my experience goes, it's better not to chose the place that pays well if people are snooty jerks.
Well, as I am so late in commenting, maybe you already got the job :) (I hate waiting and indecision just like you do. When I was waiting for my interview results it was driving me up the wall)
Good luck!!!!!!
