You know how they say that it's hard to start posting again if you haven't in a while? Yeah...

I haven't been around LJ/DW much this year. Instead I've read a lot of books, 20 so far, all of them books I hadn't read before. This after years of (re)reading Pratchett and only occasionally reading a new to me book.

I thought season four got better and better with every episode, first few were okay, then it took off. And yes, commentary and gag reel!! We finally get season three on DVD, I always buy the UK version because it has subtitles. I heard the german version hasn't. Boo. :-( But rewatch is a good idea. At least the last few epis of season 4. :-)
...NOVELS??? How did I miss that??? *goes looking*

I avoid the Kane groups on FB, I even set his page so that it only shows his own entries. The level of crazy I hear about on Twitter and LJ is enough, thank you very much. :-(

*smishes* and thank you, the Wedding Job was very happy making and the Horse job was even more so, I adore season 1.
I must admit that I don't remember a lot about the first few episodes of s4, I watched them live at 4am and haven't rewatched them since. But I really disliked the summer finale (The Queen's Gambit Job) and that has harshed my judgment of the rest. I'll be relieved if I enjoy them this time around. The Queen Job and the Gold Job are the only two eps I'm skipping, which is a shame but still exceptional for a 4 season show.

Yes novels! I'm hoping they'll be canon compliant and that they'll have a lot of backstory, kradical is writing one of them. [setting spoiler] It's set in a zoo and he posted a brief excerpt here .

I'm expecting (crossing fingers) that the Stageit gig will be awesome, for one it isn't a new thing for Chris anymore. It's nice of the boys that they're playing on a Saturday but a couple hours earlier would've been even nicer ;p .

Queen's Gambit was... weird, still - Mark Sheppard! *lol* But I loved Grave Danger Job and Cross my Heart Job, and I saw them in a row, so I was okay with it. :-)

Ooh, a very distinctive pace? ROFL!

See, and if they'd do it earlier, I would have to sneak out of a 40th birthday party. *g* Sooo looking forward to it!
