The general rule is one week per six months of dating. thefordprefect February 8 2007, 19:18:48 UTC
I don't really know where that rule came from; just that it's true.
Another thing I find to be true from hawk-like observations is that when dumped, people resort to drastic and impulsive tactics to get attention.

It seems the best course of action in these cases is to not dwell so harshly upon it, meditate, and be calm like meadow or some shit.

In all actuality…I don’t know what to do, I just got of Hindu Mysticism and it tends to make me like this. I do love my instructor. Mmm… Inner peace.

And I’ll be you my virginity that he was thinking of you, and no, I’m not just betting it to get rid of it.

Much love,
Pizzope

Baby if he's been thinking of other girls that means he moved on months ago, whenever this thinking started. Therefore by the time the relationship officially ended he'd already had his mourning period. Plus guys are just different than girls, we mourn things that weren't mourn-worthy in the first place for an extended period of time and have no idea why.
I still love you though, and I think of you :)
PS. Just because he's moved on doesn't mean you need to move on as quickly. Take your time, you'll know when you're ready
