I know it may suck hard, or it will seem like admitting defeat...but maybe you should give up for a while. Once you get into grad school you could move your shit and Izak home and focus on grades and other shit that leaves us with some sort of feeling of accomplishment. so maybe I'm saying that you should run off to grad school. becuase unless Izak gets a job soon, I think people can die from the kind of frustration you have to deal with.
