sam, you should be more open minded to the scenarios bro, they teach you how to be the best at your craft and that entails being a studio guy, because you gotta know how to be good at recording professionally of course. but yeah dude, just because they teach you in this or that manner doesnt mean you have to completely follow it, it just means you take that knowledge and apply it to what you wanna do..so go for it man, you wont regret it..youll get your name out there, and thats what you want
