I hope your father is well on his way to being on the mend.

As for myself, I've been spending my days in the signore's studio earning new callouses on my hands and a new burn to the inside of my arm. The latter was unintentional, of course. My evenings, I've been being badgered to play model for a photographer friend.

He's... doing better, speaking short-term. But my brothers and I are having to discuss what happens next. He's-- he shouldn't be in his apartment by himself, anymore.

Ah. But you're working on your glass again? I'm glad to hear that. I think that's good for you. Burns notwithstanding. (Do you have aloe?)

Ooo, fancy.

That must be difficult for him, I wouldn't want to give up my independence.

I'm working on Alessandro's glass again. He's treating me like some novice apprentice which I suppose he has his reasons for but it's certainly not what I would prefer. We yell at each other a lot. (I do have aloe and a very fussy signore who tries to be a nursemaid when I get hurt)

I'm not so sure it's fancy as Marcello knows my weakness for good wine, my need for distraction and the fact that I'll work for free.

Me neither. He's insisting he'll be fine, but... yeah.

Sometimes you gotta start over from the beginning. Well, if you've already got a nursemaid, then I'll spare you my attempts at the same.

Hah. Well, hey, if you get wine out of it...

Wow, Alan and I were just talking about you and then you post. He was worried about you, you know.

I'm sorry about the rabbi. Do you need anything? Can I help?

Alan Shore needs some Zippy Time. And possibly a hug. Probably cookies. If he doesn't want the cookies, I'll accept them on his behalf.

A time machine.

Beyond that... can't think of anything. But thank you for the offer.

I know you'll be hearing this a lot, a chara, but if there's anything I can do ... pray, talk, bring over a vat of mulligatawny soup ...

Prayer's always good. Talk... I may well take you up on.

Soup sounds excellent, I'm getting tired of cooking comfort food for the siblings.

Then soup you shall have. I can do the mulligatawny again, or I recently found some excellent recipes for soupa avgolemono and sweet red pepper soup.

Oh, the avgolemono sounds excellent-- I haven't had any since that Greek place near me closed up shop.

A sheynem dank, Cait.
