Oh no - despite what the Beatles say, you also need all those terrestrial concerns like food and water and oxygen.
Do have faith in it, though - best thing that every happened to me is finding folks who love me. Changed my whole life, and my perspective and outlook on life - made me more able to love in return. Love gave me hope.
Sorry if that's cheesy. I'm not just talking about personally for me, but as a force in the universe too - and not just romantic love, or familial love. There's all kinds of love out there and it just does make this world better than it would otherwise be.
The one and only! I'm taking a bow, hon, but you can't see it.
Of late I've been settling back into NYC (as much as one can ever settle into NYC) and listening to my older child complain about what he sees as my younger child's flightiness and irresponsibility. And you?
Let's see. Remaining settled in NYC, and listening to my older child complain about what he sees as my flightiness and irresponsibility towards my younger child still at the library, got both kids out of the house now in various ways. Nothing new, just older and grayer more chemically auburn.
