OK...you think it's bad people don't know about Serbia in the 90s?
I said something to a coworker about me being an election clerk on election day earlier this month (duh), and she said... what election? The presidential election? If they can't even keep up with what YEAR that elections are in in the place where they live, and don't even know that congressional, state, and local elections are going on all AROUND them...no, you cannot expect them to keep up with foreign affairs.
One year when I went to summer camp, I made a comment to a girl, as a reference point, as to how "No houses have been built on my side of town since, oh, the Vietnam War era." And she was like "Vietnam had a war? What part of the US is that?" And she was dead serious. -.-
