My car with the Louisiana plates is sitting here in my parents' driveway after bouncing from southern California through Las Vegas, Denver, Omaha, Grand Rapids, Syracuse, and various points in Massachusetts. We only hit one bad snowstorm (albeit in the Rockies at night) and one bit of car trouble along the way, which was preventative anyway. Utah
