so. driving home from a parent's friend's house we passed this fire up near lake forest. near where the toll road runs into these hills near irvine, absolutely crazy. we could see the flames from several miles away, smoke just billowing up into the sky, blotted out the stars and everything. we were upwind, so no ashes. couldn't even smell it. but
