Don't get me wrong, I like the holidays. I just don't understand the hubub with going home. What's the deal? Everyone makes such an effort to get home quickly for what? Here it is... my parents are probably better than yours. My area is without a doubt better than yours. That doesn't mean I want to go home. Collegeland is much better. The people ( Read more... )

I suppose it's all in how you see the holidays. I never complain about being home any more ... the stress here, at times, is overwhelming ... and the holidays are good excuse to get away from that.

Amen, JT. Home BLOWS harder than a fog horn. I don't know what that means exactly, but I do know that I never want to have to go to Shitdale with my friends Dopey and Mopey there, aka Brookville. Next year lets just stay in our apartment and cook our own thanksgiving dinner, aka spaghetti, mac and cheese, pasta salad, and taco dip. Oh and vladi...lots and lots of vladi.
