You cannot think outside of the box, you can only think deeper into it.

since you presuppose a definition of a box, I'd like to hear your perspective on what a box is?

see now,
what you said,
is pretty much what i said to you last night
so, i think i did get what you were saying
despite you thinking an A for effort would suffice

and giving me the benefit of the doubt that i do understand and just can't get it into words,
i agree completely.

for what it's worth

How can one possibly think outside of the box, without popping out of it every once in a while. Is the box made of a transparent or foggy material? Maybe we can imagine what is out there as though with damaged eyes we imagine that that glowing orb attached to a stick is a lamp post.

Or, if you're thinking of the box as the ultimate, our whole expanse of possibilities, well, how can we think about details that we may never experience? Perhaps there might be deeper thinking about patterns that seem to stretch beyond our natural perceptions.

At that time, maybe we turn to such ideas as parallel dimensions and calculations that prove that there is something else, but we won't know it as experienced from those that dwell outside of our box. Mayhap they are "higher" beings and can examine us, but not retroactively ( ... )

i don't even know if that would mean, that you're pleased with what i wrote here, or if you're calling me a box-thinker=inner. either way, uhh, blah!

well actually it's both. it's not a bad thing.. i consider myself a 'box thinker' as well. besides, it's already confusing within the box anyway.
