I have been looking in to this and I see that it seems to be more of an assumption rather than a law. It has been fun so far, to slog through and dream on this. Continuing.

It seems to me to be a very useful tool for parsing out ideas, however, it's generally not accepted as a "law" like the law of gravity or Boyles law because it isn't perfectly bullet proof. Fischer's special assumption is in this same category. It works for ALMOST everything.
