[zjendjan]

Zjendjan is sitting outside, close to the mansion, but hopefully hidden behind a bush, staring intently at a poppy.  There were poppies outside his house in Podlasye.  His older sisters used to make them into wreaths and force him to wear them when he was younger and his brothers would laugh at him and then he would get upset until his mother gave

"You want to do some more weeding?" she offers without preamble.

[zjendjan]

Augh! Scramble, mustn't let the girl we like see us mooning over a flower! "Um... Sure!"

[dragon_dealer]

She snorts. "Well I don't, so you'll just have to wait. What were you up to?"

[zjendjan]

"Nothing much. Thinking."

[hunt_theheart]

*Curio has been out on a solitary hunt, and so he comes riding out of the woods on the side of the bush where people don't normally go, two hares hanging from his saddle--he stills his horse, though, at the sight of Zjendjan, and dismounts, holding the reins with one hand* What hast thou, sir? It seemeth bright and fair--

[zjendjan]

We can only imagine what Curio is wearing, but he talks in a courtly manner and that's enough for Zjendjan. "Nothing, my lord."

[hunt_theheart]

*grins* I'm no one's lord, my friend. *looks a little closer* Is it a flow'r?

[zjendjan]

"Yes, sir." He shows it to him a little reluctantly.

[onlymary]

"...Hi."

[zjendjan]

He smiles and tries to hide the flower. "Hi."

[onlymary]

Cue self-conscious blush. It's something all thirteen-year-old girls are wont to do. "What're you doing?"

[zjendjan]

And Zjendjan just goes around in a permanent state of semi-pinkness. "Thinking."

[dukes_daughter]

"Good day!" Ganymede will flop down next to him. "How findest thou this place?"

[zjendjan]

"More than a little strange."

[dukes_daughter]

He laughs. "Ay, 'tis that. Yet 'tis not the worse for it."

[zjendjan]

A shrug and a look that shows he really isn't sure about that.
