Where in the world? ....

In the past couple weeks I flew LHR-SIN and spent a long weekend in Singapore. Went to a party, ate lots of amazing food, slowly absorbed the fact that I was in Asia. Then I flew up to Bangkok and spent a few days there (4 or 5 I'm not sure). Bangkok is truly an experience apart. The entire city is one large 24x7 food court. You can't go 100m ( Read more... )

where I'd go in the "middle east" (before we had "eastern europe" we used to call it the "near east", but whatever)

in turkey: Şanlıurfa (edessa), cappadocia , pamukkale , Nusaybin (nisibis)
(is turkey now "eastern europe"?)
