I think I'm gonna join the bandwagon and drop el jay. I don't see a point in posting here if no one's reading it, and it's no longer fun if zero of my friends ever post here (or so rarely or so few it's just plain silly

Same here. I read it. Just haven't posted much lately. But, when I do, it's largely for me rather than others.

I don't think anyone has the attention span for this kind of media any more - post a pic or a bullet item (keep it under 140 characters please). Refection, contemplation so focused on the past, or setting up expectations for the future - where twitter and stati are in the now
Hahaha, there's the attention span for a typical el jay entry, and then there's the attention span required for either a novella or one of MY entries, which is a toss-up.
Well, I still think variety is the spice of life, so I'm gonna miss this more long-form stuff as part of the mix.
I read. Just haven't had much worth posting that hasn't already come out piecemeal on "that other site". I miss the archival quality of posting to a blog though.
From what I was gathering while looking through old posts of yours for photos it seems they were uploaded to a service like photobucket or imageshack that is not part of El Jay... The photos were never hosted on El Jay and therefore only show up in your posts as long as they exist on these other services. You should look into using Flickr or some other service that won't delete your pix in a matter of weeks and not blame El Jay for something it didn't do ;)
