i miss traveling. i can't help it. i think about it...a lot. i miss eating pears and brie wrapped in prosciutto with grains of portuguese sand grinding against my teeth. mojitos in praha. i miss having an amazing time with complete strangers who by the end of the night i'll know in my heart for the rest of my life. it does feel good to be in one ( Read more... )

yes i was! it greatly contributed to my awesome night. i remember when you played the missy elliot "pass the dutch" remix. i liked whatever had been done to it.

awesome, it was so crowded in there i didn't see you, it was also just 2 DJays insted of 3 so i had less dancefloor time. with that remix (by Rod Lee) i was repping my MD roots. i'm really into that b-more club music (the stuff they play late at night sometimes on 92.3)

say HI if you see me, cause sometimes i walk around oblivious to everything around me, espically if i got headphones on.

i gave you a kiss whilst you were flipping through records but you looked awfully confused (it might have been the jammies).

i was reading the conversation on dancable solutions~dance or die. i wasn't around for dancable solutions, but i haven't missed a DOD this (school) year. i dunno, i really like the music even when i don't know/like a particular song. i listen to a lot of classic rock, and then french rap, "indie", country, hip-hop, standard 80s... i think for most people this is a time they'd be open to new things and have the most eclectic taste of their lifetimes. the friends i go with love it and listen to different stuff. i honestly just really like it the way it is. if it were all the same, like say brit-pop night at the black cat, you'd just get bored quickly.

i think maybe why some people get angry when they don't know/like a song is b/c they feel dumb, like there's a competition to be in the "in" crowd.
