I felt very much like that toward the end with Myles. Just remember the longer baby has in there, the healthier baby will be. I know it's really unfairly hard, but it'll be over soon and you'll wonder where time has gone, I promise. In the meantime, do everything you can to pamper yourself. Take long baths (if you can still lift yourself out of the tub- ha!), rub on lotion, settle in with a book or some music. Take time to do these things for yourself now- you won't have time to soon!

I've also heard... this could just be completely wrong... but the longer your preterm labor, the easier and shorter the actual labor will be. A friend of mine had a lot of braxton hicks and she slowly dilated over the course of a few weeks & she had a 3 hour labor just a week ago. She now has the most perfect little girlie.

So maybe all these false starts are actually proving to make the main event shorter for you? Here's hopin! :)

Each contraction you have is helping your body get the baby out, even if it's just "practice stretching" for the main event.

Wish I could do some walking for you. Good strength!
