I find it interesting that according to the artscroll Tanach, only Adam is banished from Gan Eden... at least the Hebrew reflects a singluar masculine.. but then he knows Eve, so maybe he pulled her out of there with him? Or maybe G-d knew that Eve would be senisble enough not to make the mistake of eating from the Tree of Life and therefore only

what word does it use when it refers to the banishment of Adam? could it be that the singular masculine is being used like "adam" which is all inclusive but still singular masculine?
