[She opens her mouth to respond, before it closes again, quiet. She may not have understood, exactly, if not for the expression that still tore at his face, even now, after it all.

It's been like that, for the past week, ever since beginning to regain her strength. Nearly every second of his time has been devoted to taking care of and worrying over her. It's faster than most, certainly, but healing was especially slow, after it all. Maybe because it took so much of her strength, the lingering affects of drowsiness has remained.

Absently stroking the puppy her hand rests on her stomach. She doesn't exactly want to think back to her memories, of that day. As painful as it was, how much so was it for him though, then? Helpless to do anything about it. She can't...imagine that sort of frustration and anguish.

I'm sort of tired, so I'm coming back, shortly. Can we come over?
