[ as the feed turns on, katsuya just stares blankly in silence for a while not sure how to even begin. he's not exactly nervous, but he does want very much to make a good impression. perhaps a bit too much so. it doesn't help that he's approaching the end of his fourth week, either, making his thoughts rather jumbled and preoccupied on... things he

I have only recently arrived but I have heard of the conflict that occurred here and even disregarding the possibility that more could occur, the need for proper administration in any growing society is pressing. Having experience in administration of the military variety, I would be pleased to cooperate with your efforts.
[ a pause, before he asks cautiously: ]
What exactly do you mean by suggestive things?

Military? [ he hadn't thought of things on that large a scale, but that would be helpful. ] That would be great, thank you. I have to admit, it's a little intimidating having to build something from the ground up... but if it's necessary, I'll do what I need to. As long as I have people I need to protect. [ he smiles slightly at that. ] Regardless, it's nice to meet you, Mr Erde. If it wouldn't be too forward of me to ask, what kind of experience do you have?
Eh? Ah... [ pause. how do you explain this one? ] If you don't know what I mean, that's probably for the best.

[ welp, he's going to find out anyway at some point. good thing there aren't really any children here. ]
Understandably, but the need does not become any less pressing despite the lack of resources available. With the stability of plans, I would expect your anxiety to lessen. As for my experience, before my arrival here, I was a Gundam Meister part of the organization Celestial Being.
[ there's a pause as he gauges Katsuya's reaction to that-- before he begins to explain further. ]
I do not know if you have an equivalent for me to compare it to, so I will be as concise as possible. I served a crew of terroristic freedom fighters, interfacing with a supercomputer to define our strategy and engaging in battle in a mobile suit, or a mobilized weapon. In terms of enforcement of the law, I have no particular experience but to be frank with you, such an endeavor will likely leave you desiring more help than you can find and in terms of combat and strategy, I have seen as well as overseen countless battles.

If anything, the lack of resources makes the need even more pressing. [ sigh. ] It's surprising that there hasn't been a greater level of unrest up until now. For the most part, conflict between captives has been minimal... I don't trust things to remain that way though. I... see. I've heard the military has some rather unusual naming aesthetics... I guess that's true. [ that's definitely all that's going on here. ]
[ though he grows a bit silent as tieria explains, not sure what to make of that. was this some sort of... science fiction story? ]
Well... your enthusiasm definitely shows. [ though he's not sure whether you're for real or delusional... ] I'm sure I could make of someone as, ah, spirited as you are. Lack of experience is fine; everyone has to start somewhere. But... [ terrorism? that was a bit foreboding. ] N, no, I'm sure you can be of great help.

My apologies if my explanation appears convoluted to someone who is unfamiliar with the dawn of mobile suit warfare. I am still becoming used to the proper manner in which to clarify such things so that users of more primitive technology may understand. This convergence of timelines and points of origin is a bit difficult to grasp.
[ terrorism for good!! but he's not going to mince words here. it's terrorism, so putting a pretty bow on it will not ( ... )

[ though... convergence of timelines? was that... something scientific? hm, maybe he should have studied physics more back in school... ]
As long as your first priority is maintaining peace, I'm sure things will work out. [ nod. ] It seems you understand that force is often necessary to achieve that goal as well... [ though he can't help but wonder if tieria's methods may be a bit extreme. ] It sounds like you may get a bit carried away as a result, but we can work on that. [ hopefully. ]

It's of no consequence. I have already encountered others unfamiliar. My assumptions based upon your general demeanor perhaps caused me to overestimate you-- that is, you seem to be a well-spoken person, Katsuya Suou. I will follow your command.
[ at least for the time being. ]

[ hopefully that would be enough. ]

Indeed, though as it is your proposal, for the time being I will be relying upon your word.
[ only second to his own, of course. your best better be good enough because if it's not, Tieria will make sure of it and it won't be pretty. ]

Of course. [ smile. ] Actions speak louder than words, correct? With so many people counting on me now, I can't afford to let them down.
[ ...granted he wasn't entirely sure people were counting on him, but oh well. ]

Good. I will hold you to it.

[ he reaches forward with his hand as if to make a handshake before realizing... oh right he's not physically there. he just stands there a bit awkwardly for a moment, not sure what to do with his hand now, before slowly pulling it back and adjusting his cuffs. ]
Until next time.

[ Tieria nods once before cutting the feed, vaguely feeling the aftereffects of something like secondhand embarrassment. ]
