[The feed cuts in at the end of a laugh. Adachi liked the little show she put on. After all that, still trying to act like she's got it together!]

Oh, that's what that is? Mine just looks like somebody drew a couple squiggles on my wrist with a dry marker. I didn't really think it had another meaning besides, "you're mine now"!

[But now the video pops on, and a dissheveled but friendly-looking Japanese man blinks then smiles at the screen. He holds his right wrist in view of the camera, dress shirt tugged away so she can get a view of the faint blue Aquarius tattoo there.]

[He hopes that by turning on his video, she'll do the same. From what he caught, she was pretty cute...]

[ nope, sorry adachi! even if she wanted to (--and for the record, she doesn't really feel compelled to--) she doesn't really know how! ]

The same one. Aquarius. [ she thinks he probably already knew that, but then again he did call it a pair of squiggles so maybe not. ]

[Struck out, huh. Well, she's talking to him, and he's got nothing better to do. He could do worse than chatting with a confused and vulnerable girl.]

Oh, I get it. Those horoscopes they have on the morning news, right?

[He knows what "Aquarius" and signs and astrology are; like most people who aren't superstitious teenage girls!!!, though, he barely knows what his own sign is, and even then he wouldn't recognize the symbols out of context, let alone the Aquarius sign which didn't look as distinctive as some of the others. But now that she's put this out there...]

Now that you mention it... [It's a little awkward holding the camera up and rifling through his pockets, but he manages to pull out a slightly crumpled piece of paper-- the letter they all got. He mouths numbers to himself as he counts the symbols in the signature... guess they weren't just fancy runic decoration or whatever cultists were into. He's not as amazingly sharp as he likes to brag, but he is intelligent enough to piece things together when he manages to give a

Let me guess, you're not going to take magic omnipotent gods for an answer? [he's got a bit of a strange smile- it's a joke, but there's a touch of nostalgia to it. he's had experience with trying to come up with Plausible Science for situations where honestly, the only real explanation is "idk magic"]
