The purpose seems unclear, for the most part-- and despite "worship" being mentioned, as you likely know it wasn't elaborated upon of what that might entail entirely.

Regarding the markings and whether our stay is indefinitely friendly-- that is also unclear. To be quite honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they intend for us to leave at all should we want to, nevermind care. They need our "help", after all.

Mean guys. How the markings factor into that is a mystery at this point, but I doubt it will stay one for long. Honestly, the only clear thing about this situation so far is we seemingly cannot leave and the sun is gone.

Everything about this so far is an absolute mystery. How annoying.

We do know that the sun will return however--or at least, that's what they implied. Once they're done resting it should be back up, but who knows how long that'll take.

That's right. The question, then, is what else they will be doing once their rest is over, isn't it? I doubt they'll only be bringing back the sun, as it is. It would seem odd for them to pull us here en masse for a cosmic reason only to delay what they actually need us for, at least.

I'm not sure we'll be receiving many answers until then, however. It's a little boring, huh?

If they needed us so badly, I'm not sure why they couldn't do it after they rested. I've heard they're still pulling bringing in, after all, so there must be something still going on.

True. One might ask, "if it takes so much energy to bring us here, what will change in the future?". Surely there's another reason. I don't believe it will be kept from us for long, though-- not with something so supposedly massive. It's just a matter of time, don't you think?
