Since obviously I'm not going home any time soon...

I need a way to make money.

Work is hard, isn't it? Perhaps if you do not want to be involved in manual labor, you could start your own business or inquire people about a secretarial position? All you do is sit and answer telephones and draw pictures of flowers on pads of paper.

[N and his friends would play secretary all the time when he was a child. it was so fun!!!!!]

[...good question. he's never...actually seen a telephone in person. only in passing.]

You use them to talk to people. Ring-ring!

[making a telephone...with his fingers...and holding his telephone-hand up to his ear to signify answering it. he is so dumb.]

Hello? Is this Arthur?

[alright, hanging up his telephone hand now...]

See?

[that's okay, N is puzzled as fuck too. how do you explain something you don't actually know shit about??????]

This thing works somewhat like a telephone, such as when you use the voice-only function. A telephone is essentially the same concept as that.

So I'd just be answering a device like this? Doesn't sound too bad.

Yes! And if you had a secretarial job, all you would do is answer telephones, or I suppose this device, and make note of appointments and questions for your boss. It sounds easy, doesn't it?
