[He admittedly feels a little ridiculous doing this. Awkward, more so. It was never an issue (not even a question of one) back home.]

I'm looking for a job. I specifically am interested in a security position, so if anyone knows of any places looking for people, I'd like to hear about it. My name is Zero.

Well, it doesn't exactly fit your criteria, but there's an opening at the flower shop, since Konoe-san left...

And I think Michel probably has openings at the bar upstairs as well.

I'd rather leave Yuuki for that stuff, but thanks. [Not that he doesn't want to spend even more time with her, but she could use some of that independence. He knows she's already enjoying herself there.]

Yeah. I spoke with him already about that. I plan to stop by to check it out, soon.

I thought so. Working closely with your friends can get tiring, admittedly.

We live together, anyway.

Are you close?

Mm. [More than close. Yet, calling her his girlfriend doesn't exactly feel fitting. Even back while Yuuki was human, putting what she was to him, into words, was difficult. Revelations with her awakening only further complicated it... as did their arrival to Zodion. He loves her too much to give it definition.]

...She's everything.

[ jun understands that better than he can say, so he only nods and offers him a gentle smile. ]

Then she's very lucky to have someone who would call her as such.

[It's the kind of response he can appreciate the most, honestly.]

I hear she really enjoys working there, by the way.

Does she? I'm glad to hear it...when you're young, adults tell you to expect that you won't like your job, and that you'll have to work with people you don't like, but that hasn't been the case for me so far. I feel very lucky.

Not everyone has the opportunity to. [Such as himself, but more so Yuuki. It's probably why she likes the flower shop so much. It's something she can make her own, rather than obligations to meet.] But it is lucky, I agree.

[He kinda gets that feeling, although, according to his colleagues, apparently he enjoys his job (at home) a little too much. Nothing wrong with that...]

What kind of job would you like the most?

Something where I can work independently, with flexible hours.

Well, I meant more like...the line of work. If something like that even matters.

Security, mostly. [Or maybe at an armory, but he doesn't really trust what's available here.]

That's a brave position to take.
