It's a constellation. The symbol that showed up on my hand is the sign of Aquarius. I don't know why, though.

Your constellation changes depending on when you were born. Aquarius is the sign for people born between January 21 and February 19. Pisces is the sign right after that, from Febuary 20 to March 20.

The zodiac where I am from was based upon a formula involving one's birthdate and year to find the corresponding Pokémon. It was not based on constellations, so that is why these names are unfamiliar to me.
