I know that magic is extremely difficult for most humans due to a toxin they carry within them and wizards and witches are real. That's it, I'm afraid.

I am not clear on it myself, actually. All I know regarding the world of magic, I learned from a Stake of Purgatory. She is very knowledgeable so I would recommend asking her for information. She is named Lucifer.

Lucifer... [The name sounds a tad ominous.] What exactly is a Stake of Purgatory? I've never seen one before.

From what I understand, they have many duties, Lucifer in particular, but their primary function is to serve the Golden Witch Beatrice. I do not know what this entails exactly since I myself am not a witch or a wizard though.

Are they people or objects? [At this point, he's a little confused.]

To be perfectly honest, I am not entirely sure myself. Lucifer is the only one I have met, and she takes the form of a young woman. However, she referred to herself and her sisters as furniture.

That's pretty peculiar. [He can't recall the Weasleys ever doing something similar in seriousness.]

I believe so. I haven't spoken to her in awhile but I don't think she has left.

Maybe she'll turn up one of these days. Did she still have her magic?

I did not ask so I am not sure. However, it appears some people here have retained their abilities from their homeworld so it would not be unreasonable to assume Lucifer still has hers.

I don't think they've kept all of them. [It's disheartening, but maybe if someone still had most of their powers, there's hope for him left?]

Is that so? Interesting. I myself did not have any abilities or special powers to begin with, so I cannot be sure. However, all but one of my Pokémon were confiscated, so perhaps they were considered an ability?
