It's not, but you'll find others who do have that one. Everyone was given one out of the twelve total Zodiac symbols. It correlates with your birthday, and the member of the Twelve it matches to.

Something like that. More so the signs themselves, opposed to the horoscopes you may find in newspapers. Each of the Twelve is a complete personification of the sign, so far as we know.

More or less, yes. I never bothered looking into the zodiac before I found myself here, but that's what it seems.

Right. It's basically like a cell phone, if you're familiar with those. Others here are more well versed in the signs, including the natives, so sometimes even just listening around is helpful. Some of the others brought here don't have anything like it in their home world. If you address the network with any questions you have, you're bound to get some response.

What are the natives like?

[Not that he's familiar with this 'Google' thing, but regardless! How to explain the natives, though... It's difficult when he doesn't know beyond the way she initially addressed the network. There's no mutual reference point, save for maybe the traces he's gleaned from how she initially reacts, and possibly her replies to others.]

It's relative to what you're used to, when it comes to what a civilized, and more or less modern society is. [a bit of a shrug.] Their personalities, lifestyles, and preferences differ from one to the next. They work and run businesses, and entertain themselves. I haven't really spoken to many, aside from the shops I've been to, but I haven't been met with any antagonism, in the time I've been here.

Is there much to do outside of this place I'm in?

There is. Zodion is actually a rather large place, as far as what we're aware of. It's made up of four main districts that correspond with the elements of the zodiac - Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. The districts as a whole have a variety of shops, places to eat and for entertainment, as well as places like the hot springs, and quite a bit of open land. Also, if you haven't seen it already, your device has a second message that states the address of the apartment that the Twelve have allotted to us. Included in it you'll find a bank card containing funds for your use.
