[Atem is on the network wrapped in the comforter from his bed. He's a desert dweller and it's supposed to be like 110 (43 C) degrees where he lives right now. So he's sensitive to these kinds of things okay?]

Is it normal for a world to get this cold? Or for the sun to just blink out for that matter...

[N is also laying in bed, latched tight onto zoroark who is sleeping next to him, so part of his face is obscured by red fur. he's used to more comfortable temperatures himself so he's noticed the slight drop as well.]

It was quite dark and cold when the first of us arrived here, but for the sun to go out like this is most unusual. I hope it is nothing to worry about...

I as well though I would also prefer that this were not a common occurrence. [He acts polite enough but there's a clear bitter note to his voice. Someone is going to be very unhappy come wintertime that's for sure.]

I'm certain there are seasons here. I myself had arrived in the early spring. I'm rather excited about winter. I've never seen snow before.

[he nuzzles zoroark, a dreamy smile on his face as he imagines this fabled snow.]

S-snow? [Oh yes he's heard of that at least. The snow topped mountain ranges far to the east where the skies are always grey and it falls like a frozen wet blanket over all the land. It sounds absolutely dreadful.] Are you quite certain that will happen here? I admit this weather might be acceptable during peret but that is the worst it ever gets where I am from....

It's a possibility. The weather is somewhat similar to my homeworld's. While largely dependent on what part of the region one is in, the seasonal weather patterns are supposedly quite distinct. I wasn't able to be outside for long so I have yet to experience it personally.

Time and place have some affect in my world though the change is hardly so drastic and it would never be as swift as what has settled upon us tonight.

[Atem finally takes takes notice of Zoroark though he's not entirely sure of what he is. All he can see is the fur. He smiles slightly.] It seems you are better prepared at least.

Is that so? How interesting. The weather changes in my world are somewhat dramatic but predictable. I must admit, I rather like the idea of a constant climate, especially if said climate is warm.

[a small smile, followed by a chuckle.]

I've learned to make due when the unpredictable rears its ugly head. You also seem to be faring well at the moment. That's good.

It is certainly warm where I come from. We reside close to a river but are surrounded by a vast desert.

[He sighs, sounding somewhat wistful. The landscape of Zodion couldn't be any more different and even that has required some adjusting to.]

This is acceptable. [Shrugging.] There is no place for a fire in these apartments or that would be my preferred option.

I have been through a desert. It always impresses me that there is life to be found out there. The conditions seem inhospitable, but many Pokémon species make it their habitat. The fact that humans can also live in deserts is equally astounding, though having a river close by would certainly make that easier.

Yes, our dwellings are a bit sparse, aren't they? I wish the option to upgrade was here... I am used to much larger living arrangements, and Zoroark needs the room for proper nesting.

There are still nomads that make their home in the barren deserts sands. And the caravan traders that might as well. It is quite something indeed and certainly not a life I would care to lead. The river is the greatest gift of the gods that has allowed my people to flourish for centuries. Although...

[Although that all changed in a matter of months and and now he can see past the war torn world he had left behind. That is nothing to share with a stranger however.]

Something larger and with far more character would be lovely. [His attention falls on Zoroark. So it's a pokemon. Just like Touko's Samurott. He could see how sharing this small space with them could be problematic but doesn't Touko have a way of storing hers?] While I suppose this is sufficient for one person they have certainly failed to consider that that some of us would want to share it with others.
