[A pale faced deadpan girl appears on the other end]
Hello. I'm Lt. Commander Ruri Hoshino with the UE-Spacy fleet. I haven't heard of your group or a Gundam but I have limited data that I've collected. None of it is terribly good data though.
The technology is somewhere in the early 20th century other than the communications devices and there are rather few natural resources. The markets have personal type items and some food, but nothing in the lines of useful machine parts or computer components. There is a library, but it lacks any historical data and most of the technical information is in line with the 20th century.
[ no wonder it seemed like most of the residents he spoken to thus far had no understanding of mobile suits. of course, just from the initial view of the environment, he could discern that there were going to be some major fallbacks. coming from the 23rd century, he's surely going to be suffering from the lapse in technology. but this information is most valuable to Tieria, so she's met with a nod. ]
You have saved me some time. To think I have been forced into an earthbound state...
[ it's uncomfortable, to say the least. ]
Nevertheless, it appears that the people who reside here are of a great many ilk. Clearly they are not all from the same planet of origin, perhaps not even the same world if I were to admit to the possibility of such a thing.
Yes, they're from all over. I think I'm the only one from the 23rd century though, or at least so far. But there are people from various areas, I suspect there may be some sort of inter-dimentional singularity. I've seen magic use, knights... All sorts of things.
[ oh! that's good to hear. so, he's not the only one. ]
I am also from the 23rd century. It's relieving to speak with someone at least vaguely familiar with the level of technology of my world. Though you say you are unfamiliar with Celestial Being-- perhaps it is as you say, regarding inter-dimensional inconsistencies. Given you are from Earth and the same period as I, such a possibility is unfathomable for any informed person not to be familiar with.
Its highly probable. Though, I tend to work more with the Mars and Jovian colonies than Earth specifically so if its a local organization neither me nor my crew would be very heavily involved.
I see. Either may explain the inconsistency. At a more stable time for myself, when I have regained clarity of my situation, I would be interested to hear more if you would indulge me.
Chemical compulsion brought on by what we suspect to be the tattoos. There are conflicting arguments if they are nanotechnology based or magical, usually split on if the person discussing is from a magic or technological background, however, the effect is still the same.
And this chemical compulsion is set into motion to force compliance with what they term worship, correct?
[ it's a lot to take in but it's his means for survival, as he had confirmed for himself just moments before. this was the consequence of taking too much time or failing to leave. ]
That is correct. Apparently it starts off slow but the longer you resist the more they introduce into your bloodstream till it basically renders rational thought impossible.
In that case, it seems it would be best to comply before the mind is too far gone. As ill fit as I am for the activity, performing it without semblance of rational thought seems unwise.
Generally that has been my take on it as well. Its a stupid waste of time, but its less of a waste to get it over with and get back to work than it is to spend days locked away trying to resist only to have it drive you mad.
[ about to ask another question, he realizes he has yet to ask for identification. ]
I would ask for the future exchange of amenities in regards to possibilities for escape or loopholes in the current situation but it has come to my attention that I have yet to ask you for your name.

Pleased to meet you. Any information you can relay to me beyond the basics of what I've acquired would be most appreciated.

Or did you need information about other things?
