[hey, look, it's that weird kid and his even weirder giant black foxmonster. they both look pretty excited to be out and about now. N's pokémon is off doing its own thing in the distance, rolling in the grass and enjoying the fresh air, and his master is just as occupied with his fistful of flowers as he wanders after the creature slowly, admiring the trees and the birdies and the clouds with awe and wonder all the while.]

[ Well, he's not really the only one just kind of idly wandering and taking in the scenery right now, at least. ]

Never knew it was this nice out here when it was all dark, huh?

[thank goodness for that, too. this place could use some positive energy.]

Yes, it truly is the difference between night and day. It's quite beautiful out here now that the sun is out.

You got that right..! It was awful when it was dark for so long.

[ She glances over to him, and nods toward Zoroark. ]

That's your friend, huh?

I agree. I would take a bright, sunny day over most anything. I can't imagine living in such darkness.

Yes. He probably seems less docile now that he's awake, but he's quite friendly.

[with a smile, he calls the creature over with a quick pat of his lap, and zoroark seems to take his dear sweet time making his way back to his master.]

I believe this is the first time in a long while he's seen the outside world, so this is quite a new experience for both of us.

He seems pretty nice to me! [ Then again Vanille has this... Thing... With animals. ]

Ah- really? [ That's actually a little shocking, but- ] Well, then, we'll have to make sure both of you have a good time today..! Right-?

[ H E H... ]

... Hmm... Maybe we can get a little closer, then? I don't think anyone's really looked over there, yet!

Really? In that case yes, let's head on over, perhaps we'll find something interesting.

[he doesn't really know what he means by interesting (maybe there's buried treasure or something), but still!! with a bright and determined smile, he makes a motion to head on over towards their unexplored destination. helpfully a garbodor doesn't pop out and eat them.]

Right!

[ And she skips on after him, spinning on her heels mid-walk. ]

We might even be able to find a way out..!

Ah, wouldn't that be nice.

[he turns back to smile at vanille, her cheery disposition infectious.]

The others would be so happy if we were to return with such news. I must admit, however, this place isn't as terrible as I had initially thought.

Yeah, they would! We're bound to find something out here, right? As long as we keep looking.

You're right, though! It's not as bad as it was before. It's a lot better now that we can actually see what's around us. Even if it's not really all that much to look at.

There's only one way to find out, eh?

Even if we don't find anything, I think this experience is quite enriching, or at least it is for me. I've never seen scenery quite like this. Where I come from, the climate was diverse all throughout the region but the terrain was generally grassland, leaving very little in the way of different forms of plant-life.

[ She listens to him pretty intently, and smiles when he's done talking. ]

I think that's a good attitude to have! I'm used to seeing stuff kind of like this, but, I guess that doesn't mean I can't take time to appreciate it. It's not exactly the same. [ She was already doing that, but, she's glad there's someone else doing the same thing! ]
