[ she's not sure exactly what it is, exactly, but it certainly looks elaborate!! and definitely better than anything she could make. she wonders if this person is a seasoned cook. perhaps he could give her a few tips... ] My, did you make that yourself?

Yes, actually, I did. It is a vegan butternut squash casserole. Would you like to try some? I find it quite good myself.

[it's a LIFESTYLE that makes him better than everyone else okay. if she'd like a pamphlet, he would be more than happy to provide her with one. anyway, he offers her a plate of...butternut squash casserole...it's so yummy...]

Here you are. Do tell me if it is to your liking.

[ she takes a dainty bite. ] This is excellent. [ not quite up to par with the royal chefs, of course, but something like this tastes delicious after weeks of cooking over campfires back home (and since she arrived, she's been trying to cook for herself... which does not really..... turn out well...... ) ] Did it take long to prepare?

Really? Thank you very much.

[he makes a mental note to pull a pamphlet on veganism out of his asshole later to give to this woman. she has good taste.]

I admit it can be a bit of a trial to acquire the ingredients, but if you do not prepare it with the vegan lifestyle in mind I imagine it shouldn't be so hard. I would not mind writing down the recipe for you if you'd like?

[Lion is still kind of wary of the food, but since someone else brought this casserole it's probably safe. Still, Lion figures he should make sure.] Excuse me...did you make this?

[it's totally safe despite its maggoty cheese-like appearance.]

Yes, I did.

[At this point, Lion will be willing to eat anything as long as it doesn't have aphrodisiacs in it.] May I ask what it is? It looks good. [Actually not really, but compliments are always the way to go in this kind of situation.]

Yes. I have always loved Pokémon and the animals I have befriended here are wonderful as well. I could never eat them or anything made from them. It seems so despicable to me...

[i've never had a squash casserole so i can't tell you if it's nasty or not so i guess lion can make hir own judgement on it.]

[Squash is pretty tasty, actually, despite how mushy it looks. At least, that's what Lion is finding out.] I see...well, at least you can still make good food without using anything from animals, if this is any indication.

[Wait.] Ah...Pokémon? What might that be?

[oh really??? sweet, i have squash with like rice and weird filipino shit but other than that idk what else u can do w/ it

N smiles and nods in approval.]

Yes, it's true. There is a vegan alternative for most anything that doesn't require meat.

Pokémon? They are creatures from my world, wonderful creatures who are full of intelligence and love. I have one with me, but he is currently resting at home. His name is Zoroark, and he is my best friend.

Is that so? There are many different creatures where I'm from, as well. [Though not all of them are that intelligent...] I've never met any creatures from another world before. I'm already familiar with most of the animals that live here.
