12 days of...
Yes that time is soon upon us and it will be here in Zodion. What we're doing for the month of December is a little different than what we have been doing. Instead of having a sign specific event, we are doing the 12 Days of "Christmas"! What that means is that 12 days (sporadically spaced) from December 1-24 there will be day long events in which to participate! There's a variety of both the ~sexy~ kind and ~romantic~ kind and just plain ol platonic kind. So, put your Santa hats on, kids.
These will be reflected on the December schedule once it goes up! But here's the run down explained:
December 02 (Friday):
Mistletoe: It's tried and true! A method for even those loser types to get some sweet action! Trying to leave without giving a smooch? Nice try, but no. Not likely to happen, guys. When you cross under the mistletoe (that can appear anywhere at anytime) you're stuck. Lay down a smooch like you mean it and only then will the mischievous little plant let you go on your way. But, beware! The more you get caught underneath it, the further you'll have to go if you catch the meaning (wink, wink). This is a day long event 12am-12am so watch your step!!
December 04 (Sunday):
Eggnog: Well, the name doesn't exactly inspire sexiness that's for sure, but with the addition of some handy alcohol to spike it and the locally grown spices like nutmeg and cinnamon sure do spice it right up! Get your drink on and let your bodies start doing the talking for you.
December 06 (Tuesday):
Baked goods: Get in the kitchen and start baking up some cakes, pies, cookies and whatever other pastries you can think of. Put those appliances to good use. Feeling in the holiday spirit? And by that we mean feeling up to cooking in the buff for your special someone? Or maybe put on that frilly apron sitting in the back corner with nothing else on underneath-just enough to be a little sly. Whatever it is, be sure to clean the table or countertops off when you're done.
December 08 (Thursday):
Lights: Hope you're still feeling festive. It's time to start decorating. ...Just not quite in the conventional way. Those pretty lights aren't for exterior or interior decoration. Nope, it's time for a little light bondage (hahaha!). Tie your partner up in any way you see fit. Just be careful not to tie up too tightly!!
December 10 (Saturday):
Candy Cane: Today two things will happen, so that means this day's even can only be done in a couple. So, hopefully, you'll be partnered up with someone good. Upon waking up this morning Character A will have a small box next to their bed (or wherever they're sleeping). Inside that box is a small remote that fits in the palm of your hand. On/off switch and 3 buttons that aren't marked. What those are, however, are speed buttons. There will also be a small card attached that simply says Find me!
Character B will have a nice little surprise that may or may not wake them up. Your neighborhood friendly tiny vibrator will be.... well... in a special place of your choosing. Make it good, because it's not leaving until the two characters find each other. Whatever happens after they're found is best left up to Santa.
December 12 (Monday):
Chestnuts Roasting: Time for a little romance. Light some candles, get a fire going and park yourselves right in front of it for a night of fine wine, fine foods and fine other things you want to appreciate. The sky is the limit so show your special someone how much they mean to you.
December 14 (Wednesday):
Snowball: No, not the sexual kind (though, if you really want to, we're not going to stop you), but a snowball fight! Gather up some friends and go adventure to the great outdoors! Build forts, pummel the crap out of each other (but no putting rocks inside the snowballs, that's cheating!!) but most of all have fun! Afterward, build a fire and tell stories or go back home to snuggle.
December 16 (Friday):
Silver Bells: Time to get your groove on, Zodion. Put on a little show for your ~chosen one~ Or make them dance for you. Heck, even dance together. Maybe even teach someone how to dance. Maybe it leads somewhere, but maybe it's just about having a good time feeling the rhythm like Enrique said. So grab your partner and do-si-do. And remember, it's all in the hips.
December 18 (Sunday):
Wreaths: Those little festive accoutrements can be used to adorn any sort of thing. Doors, windows, walls.... the lower parts of the body...
But not really. Only in the metaphorical sense! It's time to use your mouth like a wreath, people and pay some special attention to some special places below the belt. Nothing says happy holidays like your tongue up your partner's butt! Or in some lady parts! Or paying homage to the high holy candle! :) Oral appreciation today.
December 20 (Tuesday):
Gingerbread: It's time to break out your creative side! Get together with one (or more!!) and build yourselves a gingerbread house. Sounds simple, right? It's true. That's all you have to do!
Unless you want to spice it up. And in that case, each different candy means kind of action. Now, since there are dozens upon dozens of candies that exist in the world, we're leaving this choice up to you. May we suggest drawing actions from our good friends over at dirty dice to get things moving.
December 22 (Thursday):
Fruitcake: The gift that keeps on giving......... Except way better than those fruitcakes that get passed around every holiday. You and your special someone just can't seem to keep your hands off of each other. Nothing can satisfy your urges. Kissing, touching or doing the nasty. Whatever it is, you just crave more. Round after round, just keep going until you're too tired to move.
December 24 (Saturday):
Snowed In!: Uh-oh. Major snowstorm in the forecast today! Wherever you are, we hope you're comfortable, because you're gonna be stuck there until morning. Better make friends fast with whomever you're with, or get yourselves a little more comfortable. It's going to be a long night. Oh, one more thing. The snow is so abundant that the power is going out at roughly 7pm tonight and won't return until 7am Christmas morning. How ever will you keep warm? Now's the time to get cozy and put your survival skills to the test!
Points of Note:
- All events are, as always, optional.
- Aphro can be used to propel any event forward as necessary
- We know there's a lot, but try not to overload yourselves!! ♥
Now, later on in December, we will post a little more info about what's going on ICly for Christmas and New Years. There will be two "events" for those as well. Obviously, not character celebrates (or even knows what) Christmas (is) so this will be more fitting to the setting of the game and a celebration of winter instead. But, there will be merriment and gift-giving and food and friends. An open log will be posted on December 21. For New Years, there will be a lavish fancy party with dining, dancing and midnight fireworks. An open log for this will be posted on December 28. But, again! More info will be provided for both events once the days get closer.
This will be reflected on the calendar but the snow! December 3 is when the first snowfall will happen in Zodion. It will be light, just a few inches. Sporadic flurries will be continual during that following two weeks. The most that will ever be accumulated will be roughly half a foot but will be melted mostly by December 15.
December 19 is when the good snowfall starts. It will be steady for a few days and bring just a couple feet then stop on December 21. It won't melt fully, just a little on well traveled paths and sidewalks/streets in town. December 24 will be a certifiable blizzard of epic proportions. It will start midmorning and will keep snowing like the Dickens. Even if you're not participating in the 12 Days event-your character will still be snowed in!! But, by the following morning when the power returns, there won't be a bajillion feet of snow left over from the storm. Because that's December 25 and the day of the Winter Festival. Afterward, again just light flurries scattered around. The snow is here to stay for a while, so get used to it.
