What springs to mind when you hear GEMINI? Twins, right? Doubles. Two halves of a whole. Dual. Do you see where I'm going with this? Maybe, maybe not as this has a little bit of a twist to it.
Didymoe is getting restless, you see. No one is really following through with worshiping like the gods had expected. And, gosh darn it, they just don't understand why. The dreams have been persistent, haven't they? They need your help! So, the mischievous little Gemini god has decided to take matters into their own hands. What does that mean, exactly?
Starting at 12AM (midnight) est on JUNE 10 your characters will see the reflection of someone in any reflective surface-including, but not limited to: mirrors, windows, any water surface, glasses, and so on. Basically, if they can see themselves, they are liable to have a vision of someone else. Your character will feel the need to seek the other out.
Now, that's not to say both parties will be happy about actively seeking each other out. This is something we are leaving up to the players to decide. But, once they see the face of the other character, they will know instantly what that means. Which is to say: sex is a go. They can fight it, be okay with it, hate it but want to do it anyway. That is totally up to you guys to plot amongst yourselves.
Another thing of note is, it is the player's choice if they would like their character to see more than one person reflected back at them. However!! Please keep it at a minimum and do not go over three! It is also your choice on how many times a character is reflected. Meaning, Character A sees Character B in the mirror first thing when they wake up. They can continue to ignore it, but eventually the draw will be too much to handle and they meet with Character B and do the deed. Done. Unless, you feel like being awful and making them worship more. Roughly, an hour after they have sex the reflection can come back. This is an optional feature! But, should you choose to participate: Your character must worship at least once during the three day period.
The event will run for three days, which means it ends at 11:59PM est on JUNE 12!
Of course, there will be characters who would try to get around the reflections. But Didymoe will not have that, you sneaky little things! Should your character try to cover anything, nothing will stay hidden. If your character tries to outsmart Didymoe by not going near anything reflective (or Air Temple forbid, not bathe), mirrors will start appearing around them or their devices will malfunction to show "their other half." You can't get away.
This is an optional event! You do not have to participate if you don't wish to and just wait for the aphro to kick in next week (for those of you who intro'd when the game opened, anyway-otherwise, just follow your character's weekly arrival to their fourth week).
