Aww, thank you. The prologue is posted earlier on the lj, called "cloudburst" and the next chapter should be up by monday. :D I don't know how many chapters there'll be, but Jayne and Kaylee both insist it won't be anything short of a small novel. I hope you enjoy and stay with it.

Thank you so much. And yes... Jayne is the Star and Kaylee is the heaven he's hung on...with a little something extra. Now surely, I meant this to be mostly Jaylee point of view, but it's obvious here that Mal could not be kept restrained for the purposes of storytelling. We've since taken to locking him in the basement. ;)
