Alaska is a nice place, but there aren't even a million people there!!! My city is larger!!!

Alaska gets the majority of it's money from oil (80%) and doesn't have sales or income tax. So I suspect Palin doesn't have the kind of budget experience the governor of other states do. Palin hasn't even been in office 2 years

I was recently talking about this elsewhere. The demographics of Alaska and their key issues are pretty silly to those of us in large, diverse, metropolises. I'm totally with you in that we need to avoid mentioning experience in terms of time and look at the nature of their experience.

I'm thinking the only reason she's popular cause she can easily get around to shake everyone's hand and make people feel they personally know her. But she can't do that in a large election. If her speech the other day was any indication, she'll be a lack-luster, pretty generic conservative.
