almost a year, boys. I still think about it. regret it, yes. revel in it, yes.

but now i have something tangible. something that isn't false, empty, perverse. Re-finding God gives me such hope and yet such conviction. I miss it. I miss him. But who wouldn't? We're human.

these sites are like cyber fads. only one can be hip at a time. LJ seems to have lost her fad-leader status.

Tonight is the first official night at my place. Bed and all. Or, almost all.

My co-worker and her husband brought an old bed frame and we jimmy-rigged the queen set onto a double frame. Seems sturdy enough. Also turns out I can piggy-back off of a neighbour's wireless connection. So I won't be getting a land line after all.

last night i got the keys to the new pad. since they had to delay my move-in date (by only 6 days) they are not making me pay for the remainder of the month. which means i can put that cizzash toward things i want, and not necessarily need, like creating my mini-bar ( Read more... )

tonight was fantastic. we took the boat out and danced up a storm. i felt so happy for the first time in a long time. sometimes i wonder if i wasn't made for the water. except some people might say i oughtn't drink the jack on the thames. so i drank vodka tonight. This new job is fantabulous thus far.

Did i mention i got a new place? Move-in date is set for Aug 15th. Any helpers for that following weekend? Free beer to those who assist while managing to refrain from mocking my over-abundance of crap.
