Ah yes, kids at the zoo. I remember a few years ago a friend took me out the the LA Zoo and these kids were screaming and what not. I was walking over to the alligator section, and this kid says let's throw rocks at it. Then the other one said, "No it's not allowed." Since there was a sign there. It's like if there had not been a sign you mean you would have hit it? Yikes...kids today scare me.
I don't know if I did this as a kid, but I'm thinking I didn't because my HUGEST pet peeve at the zoo is when kids/parents associate animals with a mascot character. I don't even know why this gets on my nerves, but if a pack of children are like "NEMO" or "DORY" or "TONY THE TIGER" or "MARMADUKE", I cringe. I think I really got enough of it when I went to a zoo where you were SO close to the tiger, and everyone there was like "omg tony the tiger" and I just wanted to yell at one of them. Thats not their name! Of course, when I go to the zoo, the animal could be sleeping for all I care, and I'm like "OMG LOOK HOW CUTE."
Baby monkeys and their mothers are the cutest thing, I've learn.
...Funny story, we were once at the zoo and one of the birds MEOWED at us. XD It was a parrot of some sort, I guess his trainers taught him to do it.
