Making money

Jan 14, 2011 00:21

Over the past few days I've been tagging along with my parents to do errands and stuff.  This is a common holiday pastime; while I'm perfectly happy to sit at home on my bum all day my mum is fairly people-needy, and is really good at guilt tripping me into being 'out in the fresh air'.  It's usually not too bad (so long as I eventually get a break ( Read more... )

Glad to hear school is going well for you! My second semester in year II is just starting and we are already knee deep in anesthesiology and pathology.

Wow you move faster than we do (I blame our entire unit of Equine Anatomy, and our unit of business studies, and our unit of How To Interact With Other Human Beings). We start pathology in this coming semester, though we did have an introduction to disease type course in the last semester, so we've done some groundwork in that area. We do anaesthesiology in semester two of this year I think.

We're a month and a half away from starting up again and this morning I got an email full of notes from a person the year above telling everyone that we should start studying now. This semester is the hardest one apparently D:

Good to know you're doing well too :D Are you enjoying it all?

yesyesyes, jon and i have been facing our own desperate lack of funds and the frothy-furious rising tide of debt and it's remarkably stressful. especially when one needs to pay for school and a wedding and a new apartment and moving to said apartment and a new bed because my futon is like sleeping on a tiny brick, etc...

but anyway, speaking of commissions, i am still interested in said-zoe designing a tattoo of 3 winged rats, not likely to happen until the end of the year when said-financial situation is better looking and smelling - i would also like an elephant at some point, but that would be even further from now. i will pay you appropriately! we will discover this by consulting with tattoo artists...

i went to see three - two were crappity-crap-crap, and the third was not too bad. it's the bottom floor of one-half of a terrace house in glebe. it's a little run-down, needs painting and cleaning, but it's spacious and cool inside (which is essential if there is no ac!), and very close to school/work. we have officially applied, so we'll see what happens!

covering your buses will help a little, and it's good of you to try.

yay for zoe-tattoooooos! don't worry over the elephant - i'll be very picky about him or her and will tell you straight out if i'm happy or not. the elephant may end up being a competition actually - i want to see what all my artist-friends would do! the flying ratties however, i entrust to you. they're right up your alley. your awesome, awesome alley.

:)

NO CHICKENS ONLY DOCTOR WHO!!! COME BACK!!!
