I think the reprise of Song for Ten is pretty heartbreaking

So I finally finished my little crochet binturong that I've been working on, and I wanted to show it off, because I'm quite proud of the derpy little thing (also, potential commission fodder?).  I bought myself a little crochet design book last year, and took it for a spin at our family Christmas picnic and have been playing around with what I can ( Read more... )

omg omg omg omg. :D

Let me know how much you ever plan on commissioning these things. I may commission a mongoose from you (or something else? :o), and if it's not too expensive (omg the shipping costs), I'd totally love one. Especially because mongooses aren't too far off binturong when it comes down to generic shapes, so it might be something you could pull off. :D

Either way, this little guy is cute and derp, and I would totally love one. XD

I could totally do a mongoose, no problems :D I'm fairly confident that I can somehow wangle most mammals using the design I [loosely] use. And at the moment I'm toying with the idea of $25, $30 Aussie all up (which is about the same as US money at the moment) because the shipping alone costs $10 and buying an envelope and stuff usually takes it up to $13 (I have to check what the smaller envelopes cost, because I could send these in a littler envelope because they're not delicate or in a huge box like the little things I send). That way it covers shipping and I actually get something out of it?

I bought a bunch of cottons a couple of weeks back and I think I got a pretty good colour for slenders too actually...

But thank you :D

I will definitely keep it in mind. :3 Not saying that you should start making it yet, but I will be thinking about it, oh yes.

They are so cute and so derp. <3 How could one NOT love them? :D

I'm not doing anything until I get back from my dairy placement (woo :/), and then I'm hoping I can make up a list of different things I can do. We'll see :P

I saw the first pic and thought, it's so cute! Then I saw the face and full-on squealed. THE CUTE. Zoe, why are you so talented.

Eep, thank you so much :D I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks he turned out cute (in an odd sort of way).

Thank you :D I wasn't sure whether button eyes or embroidered ones would work better, but I'm kind of fond of being able to make the buttons. And ugh, making those eartufts prominent enough was a nightmare, but it wouldn't be a proper binturong without them. It had to be done.
