 So, it's the start of finals and my hardrive decides that this would be a good time to fail. I went to the apple store but they couldn't fix it or get anything off my hardrive. So I have to retype my entire screenplay largely from memory, which is due for my advanced screenwriting final tomorrow. Not to mention all of my writing that is lost. But

And I hope that they can fix your hard drive or at least retrieve stuff off of it. I doubt they really go through and read all your documents though? More likely to look at nudie pics instead, I think that's what worries more people.

Thanks. Yeah, I emailed my teacher and he told me that since he gets a lot of emails about failing hardrives during finals I'd have to bring in the papers from the apple store but he could give me an extension. I'm still going to try to have to done for tomorrow though. But with my roommate being amazing and letting me use her computer and with the extension as a back up plan I should be fine.

I shouldn't be worried about the Apple people seeing the porn. If it makes you feel any better, I've had an IT woman come across graphic furry porn on my PC when it decided to get infected with a killer virus. Very embarrassing, but obviously I lived, and I never saw that lady again.

Okay, I squealed at Eames/Yusuf boarding school fic. I squealed hard. You should try and see if it can be retrieved. I have done that before (even with loads of porn on my computer), and you can always just avoid eye contact, haha.

Haha yes, I have no idea how it's taken me this long to get to Eames/Yusuf. Oh, I will, I have too many things on there not to try. I have an emotional attachment to the contents of my hardrive. I'll just stare at my feet and blush :)

<.< This might be a bit of late advice...but when my laptop crashed about a year ago (and I was horribly embarrassed about letting someone check out my hard drive full of Star Trek slashy yum)-- I was actually told about an external hard drive unit.

Which involved me taking apart my laptop and kinda setting the broken case aside-- while plugging in the hard drive to the external hard drive case. <.<; But then it wasn't my hard drive that had failed...
