1) To me "masucline" = broad shoulders, six-pack, visible chin, hair shouldn't be overly curly, muscles here and there, taller than 1.70 m.
2) Not that much. I fall in like with a character, not the body. Nice body is nice extra.
3) Uhm... only muscles and 2.20 m in height? Penis is 25 cm? *RUNS AWAY AND HIDES* Oh yes, those guys scare me. I don't want to be squished underneath them (or hurt during plain, normal sex) (Ah, obviously for me dating = having sex ^^;;; )
The tinier the dog, the higher the price? it's CUTE though
I associate "masculine" with lots of negative things, for instance:
bossiness superiority complex not thinking of others making derogatory comments general boorishness over-aggressiveness pushiness closed-mindedness American
So I tend to lump all of those negative "male" qualities together with muscles, body hair and intimidating size.
Not really sure why... I mean, I've certainly had male friends who were "masculine" without being assholes, and my brothers are all fairly "masculine" and I get along with them famously.
*nodnod* I can see that. I think it's hard not to associate certain aesthetic things with personality.
I just am not sure quite how I define 'masculine', and it's really interesting to see how others do.
I think I'm sort of with you though, assuming those qualities. I prefer a guy who is more... I don't know, on my level? Don't feel the need to remind me he's a guy? Maybe that does mean feminine. I'm not really sure, to be honest.
- I define 'masculine' not so much looks, but more... attitude, I guess? Like, I'd find someone 'masculine' by the way they walk, talk, think and act; for example, someone 'masculine' (to me) is a person who'd walk with a sort of cowboy swagger, or big, confident strides, whereas someone 'feminine' (again, to me) is a person who's got a dainty sort of gait, flounces, or sashays. This isn't limited to genders - I have a good female friend whom I find very 'masculine' and guys whom I find quite 'feminine'. It has no reference whatsoever to their sexual orientation either, but... yeah. D-Does that make sense?
- I would prefer a guy who fits my definition of 'masculine' for a partner. Doesn't have to be, but I'm more comfortable with that.
- By 'hyper masculinity', do you mean 'macho man full of testosterone'? If so, yes, big turn off. XD;
It does! I'm just really curious. My friend and I were talking about it earlier, and I realized that I don't really know how I define it, so I was seeing about other people ^^
Yeah 'macho' I can describe pretty easily, and to me it goes hand in hand with chauvinist, which I do NOT go in for. But other people might see 'hyper masculine' differently, I don't know, like super chivalrous? I dunno! I think this stuff is super interesting.
Right? Like I do like the idea of chivalry, but I don't necessarily associate with being masculine -- just polite. I don't really see it as chauvinist like some people do.
Hyper masculine guys are scary, whenever I don't think they're gay. I'm not into that whole macho thing (which hilariously unfortunate considering it's what all Aussie men seem to want to be XD). I don't really know what I consider feminine in a man, though.
Yeah, I don't see the appeal in it at all, at least not what I consider to be 'super masculine'. But it's similar in America, guys are supposed to be very big and strong and takechargeish, which I guess is partly how I see 'masculine', and I'm not a fan.

... hmm. That is interesting. I've never really seen chivalry as a part of being masculine. Though, I guess it is usually associated with men. XD
