I don't really... do fandom anymore. I kinda hate how it can take over my life and I'm trying really hard to have better control over myself and my habits. I just watch TV shows and read books and whatever, but I just don't feel the obsession towards things that I used to~ And I know that I'd much rather read/ know about someone's life than the fandom that they're in.

I know what you mean. I guess in a way, I don't do fandom either. I just am really into a few things. I don't really mean internet fandom so much as just 'what are you watching/doing'. I get a pretty good handle on your from your LJ though, now that I'm back reading.

Yeah~ like I guess being so into JE and joining all of those lj comms and making friends with people and only being friends with them cuz of JE and then spending so much money on JE was just like... the definition of 'fandom' for me. I know some of my friends are into 'fandom' and like, keep up with their idols or groups and what have you, but I just can't do it anymore, and when I look back on that time of my life I'm like 'wtf was I?' lol. But yeah, I just keep up with my CW shows and a few others and read a few manga and watch a few anime. I'm glad you're back on LJ again though~

Yeah, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I look at those.... 3(?) years of my life and it sort of feels like this weird dream I'm totally disconnected from. All the things I'm into now are things I was into pre J-pop, so it's almost as if that phase never happened. I look at all those CDs and DVD and anything to do with that time period and it's just this weird, weird blur.

I'm glad I'm back, too ♥ We need to get together soon. You free Friday the 19th for dinner by any chance?

mmm...it was a toasty 60 degrees F today here in sunny California. I wore a sleeveless dress. It was great.

Still a KH bum with a side of digimon and occasional stints into TMNT. That's about it at the moment ^^;

Ah, KH. A new game came out, right? Or am I making that up?

I still have my "old" favourites that I will never let go of neveeeeer (Nodame, Pushing Daisies, Battlestar Galactica), but I'm still really enjoying Leverage, The Big Bang Theory, Being Erica, and Dollhouse. My friend lent me the first season of Dexter and I'm going to try and watch 12 hours of that in the next week somehow orz

I'm so behind on Big Bang Theory. I need to just download what I've missed and marathon. What's Being Erica? I've never ever HEARD of that.

There are heaps of good comics! I read X-Factor and Detective Comics month to month and then whichever older comics look interesting. My library has a pretty good TPB section.
