Open - Shopping

There were few things Zoey hated more than the winter season. She always seemed to be running late for something or other. Not only had she failed to even start Christmas shopping, she had also completely forgotten about The Nutcracker. Recital season wasn't generally in the winter; there were just entirely too many other things happening to bother ( Read more... )

The spectacle of the opening games of the World Cup brought Viktor over continent to London. He'd decided that he wanted to get in a bit of sightseeing while he was there. He'd already been to Big Ben, had a look at Buckingham Palace (just cause that was the thing to do. What a big building! He thought about Apparating inside, but then thought better of it.), and he thought he was on his way to the Tower of London.

Thought he was on his way. Not knowing the city, Viktor found himself incredibly lost, and was just about to give up and Apparate back to Diagon Alley. He had to find a deserted alley first though. Finally, he spotted the perfect one, when out of nowhere, an incredibly striking blonde woman with her hands full went rushing up... Oh.

The roll of fabric came to a stop at his feet.

Ever the gentleman, Viktor picked it up and returned it to the harassed looking woman. "Is it heavy?" He asked her, his much improved English augmented by a thick Bulgarian accent.

Zoey was busy glaring at the ground when she realized someone had actually noticed her plight. She'd been about to go for broke and just magic everything when someone - a very familiar looking someone - showed up holding her red Christmas fabric.

"More... cumbersome than actually heavy. Things like this are why I need minions. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find a minion, would you?" She was not starstuck, okay. She was personable.

Zoey Ferris could be personable.

He frowned slightly; minion was not a word Viktor was familiar with, but he wouldn't let this stranger who needed a hand know that. But one thing he was, to a fault, was a gentleman. So naturally, he offered his assistance.

"Do you need me to help you?" he asked, flashing her his trademark smile, which wasn't really a trademark, as he was most often photographed brooding.

Nine times out of ten, Zoey would turn down offers like that on general principle. Sure, they were helpful, but she couldn't tolerate men getting the impression she was weak. Sometimes, though, she just couldn't help letting a man be a gentleman - usually based on how absolutely gorgeous and sweet he seemed to be. She always destroyed the sweet ones, but they were fun while they lasted.

"Would you mind? I'll never get these back on my own."
