*deep sigh* This was so lovely. Lash's "bittersweet and full of promise" comment is completely true. As I read, I felt my chest tighten and I wanted to hug them and tell them it was going to be okay.

I've always wondered if JK ever imagined how attached we would become of these fictional characters or how we would take them all in so many different (and better) directions.
